I have been involved in rugs returned home to the USA in 2000. That’s when I found the rug store and realized many of my dreams and interests in one location. Trained as a chemist one of my many jobs had been in a factory that dyed textiles in Piraeus Greece. The family owned factory business actually wove silk in the hay day of the Greek immigrants’ return from Turkey. Painting since I was a young child, I took many professional classes in drawing and color. So with a trained eye for visuals and color, each new piece of information added to my rich experience in their world. I appraise and give recommendations for purchase and care.
